Past Activities

These are some of the past projects and activities of CWaCS:

• taking part in the Elm Tree Reintroduction Project; having received an elm sapling from the project, we have now planted it within the fruitful hedge in the recreation ground
• planting indigenous wild flowers and daffodils on our verges. As spring arrives, Chalgrove welcomes visitors with thousands of daffodils 'fluttering and dancing in the breeze', planted by residents of all ages from 3 to 83.   Sadly many have been dug up by developers, so we will have to plant some more next year.
• surveying our footpaths, and aiming to document them and keep them clear for everyone to enjoy
